Fragrance Notes: This scent imagines battle, war, chaos. Inspired by the Battle of Trafalgar in which Lord Nelson both won the battle and also lost his life. Tonnerre also references the year (1805) in which naval Officer Sir Francis Beaufort introduced “wind force scale” on the sea. The clashing of the notes takes us to a battle on the high seas – the smoky smell of guns blazing, blood and brandy being split on the deck and the giant waves crashing over the boat and taking control. This is the smell of warfare on the sea. A clashing of notes, an intensity of everything happening all at once, and then the calm after the storm as the perfume settles on the skin. Top Notes: Lime, Smoke, Gun Powder. Heart Notes: Blood, Brandy, Sea Spray. Base Notes: Amber, Fir Balsam, Cedarwood.
